内容	A Riemannian metric on a compact oriented manifold M induces a family of Riemannian metrics on the loop space LM depending on a Sobolev space parameter s. We develop a theory of Chern-Simons class for the loop space LM, and find a new invariant which distinguishes the smooth homotopy typ of certain actions on manifolds.
