タイトル An S-adic Pisot conjecture for a class of binary one-dimensional tilings

内容 A tiling is a geometric object in an Euclidean space. Some tilings
lack translation symmetry (non-periodic), but have a weak form of
translational symmetry, i.e. they are almost periodic. This phenomenon
is important in the study of quasicrystals. It is meaningful to check
which non-periodic tilings are almost periodic. An important
conjecture is the Pisot conjecture, which claims that an inverse-limit
structure and a number-theoretic condition imply an almost
periodicity. For almost all binary cases, this conjecture is solved.
In this talk, we give a different proof for this and erase the word
"almost" for a certain binary case.
