Data Science is a new paradigm whose objective is Data. We are investigating various aspects of Data for constructing a good environment for working with Data. DandD (Data and Description) we have constructed is one of such environments, which supports whole process of working with data from its acquisition to the modeling. We also have conducted many practical works with data, ranging over instantaneous foreign exchange rates and its modeling by a clustered marked point process, TOPIX(Tokyo Stock Price Index) data by a neural network model, DNA or protein sequence data by clustering and identification of the preserved block, earth warm experimental data by multiple time series model, bird count data to explore significant relations to environmental changes, satellite radar received signal data by a continuous compound signal model. We found a general way of letting data to tell the truth and now implementing it into the DandD environment.
