I study quantum Painleve equations and quantum isomonodromic deformation. Quantum Painleve equations are a quantization of Painleve equations with affine Weyl group symmetries. Painleve equations have Backlund transformations which are equal to affine Weyl group actions.
Painleve equations were discovered around the beginning of 20th century, hoping to obtaitn new special functions. At that time, Painleve equations were not connected to other mathematical fields but recently many mathematicians from different background study Painleve equations. I hope to find a new discover about relations between quantum Painleve equaions and other mathematical world.
