My research interest is in the field of discrete mathematics and its applications to computer science and bioinformatics, etc. My main research topics are as follows:

(1) Existence and construction of combinatorial designs.
(2) Design of experiments, optimal designs, efficiency of block designs.
(3) Applications of combinatorial designs to optical orthogonal codes, Bluetooth, RAID systems, etc.
(4) Optimal pooling designs for DNA library screening and algorithms for positive clone decodering.
